Rock and roll, a great American institution, has helped fuel political and social change for decades with it’s spirit of freedom, progress, and rebellion. As we try to make positive change for animals in need, what better way to inspire others to support our cause than by turning to the power of music?

Join us and other passionate music and animal lovers for a night of great live music, prizes, and togetherness all for a great cause: to help save lives. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the PSPCA–rock on!

Fur Ball Gala

You and your well-mannered dog are invited to join the Portsmouth Humane Society for the 2nd Annual Fur Ball Gala! Your ticket will include valet parking, cocktails, a delicious plated dinner with dessert (volunteers will be on hand to babysit your dog while you eat), live entertainment from The Original Rhondels, raffle prizes, best dressed contest and more!

Trails and Tails 5k Run/Walk

Enjoy the perfect San Diego weather at the annual Trails for Tails 5K. Participants and their dogs are invited to run or walk to raise money to benefit San Diego animal shelters, including the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA and the animal welfare programs of the American Veterinary Medical Foundation.

FORE the Animals Golf Tournament

Love golf? Love pets? Why not combine the two and support the Fore the Animals Golf Tournament benefiting the Oregon Humane Society? We’re offering three ways to sign up to golf: VIP Team, Standard Foursome and One Player registration options. Non-golfers can get in the act, too by purchasing a Dinner/Auction Only Ticket orTee Box Signs for their pet.

This year’s tournament will be hosted by the highly regarded Columbia Edgewater Country Club! With a long history of hosting many high profile tournaments, this Portland facility was notably the home to the LPGA Safeway Classic from 1974 to 2008.

Get a hole in one at any of the par 3 holes and you’ll win a fabulous prize. Venus Allure Salon and Spa is giving away a fantasy golf vacation for two to Scotland, Hawaii or Pebble Beach (your choice) if you land a hole in one on their hole. Prizes at the other holes include airline tickets, LCD TV and a new set of Callaway Diablo irons.  Are you feeling lucky?

Feasting For Felix

This family-friendly event will feature delicious tastings from the area’s best local restaurants, along with live music by THE MARK CROFT BAND, a silent auction, and plenty of four-legged friends. To add even more excitement to the mix, all restaurants will be competing for Best Sample, Best Presentation, and Best Animal-Themed Decoration, each of which will be chosen by local celebrity judges! Ticket price includes food, drinks & fun!

Enjoy delectable wine, delicious hors d’oeuvres and the opportunity to meet Randy Lawrence, Director of Humane Law Enforcement. This is a complimentary wine tasting hosted by K ‘n B Wine Cellars.  The night of the event, K ‘n B Wine Cellars will provide each guest a list of wines that have been rated 90 points and higher.  Each guest will be asked to purchase a bottle ($35 and above) to donate to the San Diego Humane Society.  This wine will be used to raise funds through a premier wine auction and raffle at the San Diego Humane Society’s 26th Annual Fur Ball Gala.

Run for the Paws 5K

Join hundreds of animal lovers as they take to the streets for the Delaware SPCA’s  4th Annual 5K Run in sunny Dewey Beach.  Stay after the race for fun, refreshments and an award ceremony hosted by The Starboard Restaurant. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the care of abused, neglected and homeless animals, and efforts to reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs. Tech Race T-shirts to first 250 registrants.

KSDS PUPS (Preparing Useful Pups for Service) Days

PUPS (Preparing Useful Pups for Service) Days is a weekend long event held on the KSDS campus in Washington, Kansas where puppy raisers can get to know one another better and learn skills that will help them mold and shape the puppies in their care into the best assistance dogs they can be. Some of the many fun events that PUPS Days will feature is: Ask A Vet, Disability Awareness, a KSDS Graduate panel, a Q&A with the KSDS Trainers, Canine Tic-Tac-Toe, a Raffle and Silent Auction filled with wonderful prizes, and much, much more! You won’t want to miss it!

Ken-Mar Rescue Bingo Fundraiser

Join Ken-Mar Rescue for its annual fundraiser.  Have a great time for a good cause. Bring all of your friends. A good time will be had by all! More than $4,000 of Bingo Prizes, Live Auction Prizes, and Raffle Prizes! Featuring Theater and TV celebrity Daniel Guzman most recently on “Criminal Minds,” “The Closer,” and also can be seen in “My Sister’s Keeper,” and the soon to be released “Visible Scars.”
