I have a kitty and his name is Zuck! We travel by car often, but he does not have a proper carrier. He outgrew his other carrier so at the moment he uses a harness with a leash. I would love for him to have a carrier that he can be comfortable in during long car rides. I have been eyeing Sleepypod carriers for a long time and would love to win this package! We travel (by car) with our kitty monthly to relatives houses and he likes to come along. He loves to look out the window and see all of the activity going on as we pass other cars, trees, etc. We usually only travel 1-2 times per month but sometimes we travel more. I would prefer he had a proper carrier instead of a harness with a leash because he tends to get restless after a while, which can be dangerous to everyone in the car, including himself!

When Monster Truck was first brought to me, he was in a red airline pet travel bag. If you watch our episode of “The Dog Whisperer” you’ll see it! That bag is still his favorite place to be, and he travels everywhere in it whether by plane, car, or just on my shoulder. It’s gotten a little raggedy at this point. I suppose it’s time for a new “home away from home” for him! =)

We have three rambuctious Rat Terriers that love to go for rides but don’t like to sit still. They have always been buckled into booster seats but try to climb out. I just read an article that stated the Sleepypod is the safest, and the only really safe, transport for our pups. Since they range from 13-15 pounds, we will need to get three of the Sleepypod Air, so thankfully they come in a great variety of colors. The vet care of the pups is very costly due health of many dogs, so winning one of the three Sleepypods that we need would be such a blessing to this dog-loving family.

Maybe she’s spoiled, maybe not… All I can say is she hates her plastic carrier, so she usually just sits on my lap. If I do keep her in the carrier, she expresses her strong aversion quite vocally by crying all the way to our destination and once we arrive she is very persistent in ignoring us for quite some time. I am lucky enough to own four animals. I travel with my dog Lil’ Archie wherever I go. She has been to Canada every year, twice a year, and owns sweaters and Pugz for her feet because we go to Edmonton where it is freezing cold. I do not travel with my cats but definitely plan to travel with Big Mac my newest family member, the 1 year old, 3 pound chihuahua.
I travel with my animals on FOOT, of course, and when I take Lil’ Archie and Big Mac’s for walks, the cats come along too. I also travel often by car..the cats only go to the vets and back but the dogs go to and from the dog park every week! I travel by plane, going twice a year to Canada. I’m trying to think if Archie has ever been on a boat, don’t think so…but I’m sure she wouldn’t be opposed.
