21st Annual Walk Run for the Animals

Join the Delaware Humane Society for an afternoon of doggone good fun to raise money for homeless animals. Participants will take a scenic one mile stroll along Lums Pond and then enjoy a day of festivities for the whole family.
There will be refreshments, pet contests (Cutest Costume, Best Pet Trick, Most Precious Puppy, Best Kisser, Owner Look Alike, and Best Tail Wagger), agility and dog demos, children’s activities, raffles, and pet-friendly vendors. Canine companions are welcome to join you, but are not required in order to walk.

The funds raised from the event go directly to providing food, shelter, and veterinary care for the thousands of animals in Seattle Humane Society’s care each year. It also supports low-fee spay/neuter services, our Pet Food Bank for the pets of low-income seniors and Pet Project for the animals of people with AIDS, and many other life-saving programs and services.

They’ll be on the Ocean Lawn of the Royal Hawaiian. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on hundreds of gifts and services in the silent and live auction, followed by a wonderful evening that includes a gourmet dinner and entertainment.
Paws in the Park

This is a family-friendly event, after all.) Paws in the Park is the largest dog walk in North San Diego County and is the Escondido Humane Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
Fantastic Fidoes, 31st Annual K-9 Fun Run & Walk

Pinball! Pinburgh 2012 Match Play Championship

The Pinburgh Match-Play Championship is a unique match play concept that ensures every pinball player gets to compete for at least two full days. This structure was developed by Bowen Kerins, former World Pinball Champion, and is designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. Please read this quick overview of how Pinburgh works.
Pinburgh is a completely open event with a single registration fee ($100) for each player. Token purchases go directly to charity, and in 2011, $12,550 was raised for the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society. Each player should expect to use a minimum of $20 of tokens while competing. The total prize package exceeds $20,000!
The Pinburgh Match Play tournament directly benefits the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society. Each $10 roll of tokens pre-purchased at registration results in a $15 donation to the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, while each $10 token roll purchased at the event results in a $5 donation. Each player is being invited to purchase at least $20 worth of tokens, resulting in a typical $30 donation per registered player.
Each year, a collectible token is produced for Pinburgh attendees only; this ultra-rare token will be included in each roll of tokens sold at the event (until we sell out!), but otherwise will not be put into circulation.
2nd Annual Mutt Strutt 5K

Guests traveling with pets and neighborhood friends with pets are invited to bring their cameras and pose with Santa on Saturday, December 10 and/or Sunday December 11 from 2-4 p.m.
According to Kimpton Hotels, “Mostly, we see dogs at Santa Paws which is great. But we want to remind everyone that Kimpton is an inclusive and diverse company. If it can fit through the door, we welcome it for holiday pictures.”
